The ring works well on a wall or fence in a garden setting. The armature was created using a rubber bicycle tyre. The ring was formed by crocheting found and washed coloured fishing twine/rope around the armature.

I first saw a Great White Egret at Arundel Wetlands – it is a truly elegant bird. The Sculpture is made from recycled plastics and cable ties and is fixed to a wooden base. The Egrets neck is formed using plastic water pipe parts. In private collection.
