Peacock

The lifesize Peacock sculpture was a commission in 2016 for Ightham Primary School in Kent. I created a sculpture entirely from recycled materials.  It was sited in the schools new building. The sculpture was inspired by the Peacocks that strut the grounds of the near by historic Ightham Mote manor house.

The recycled materials include: plastic coloured balls from ball pits, plastic drink bottle lids, coat hangers, umbrella handle, swing ball pole end, laundry basket.

The children at the school loved spotting the individual plastic objects of which the peacock is made.
